Tough times

As a GP I’m working daily to support the NHS and help patients, many of whom have been amazingly understanding and kind with their thoughts and appreciation. I have thought long and hard about whether to continue doing driver medicals as really my time is so precious at the moment. BUT….. licenses need renewing, people need employment, HGVs are needed more than ever to transport food, medicines and equipment.  Taxi drivers are needed to transport tired front line staff and ambulance drivers are needed to help the critically ill. So I’m staying open, supporting drivers when needed but with stringent hygiene practices in place . We will turn the tide!
