Medical Description
The rules for taxi drivers are slightly different to those of bus and lorry drivers. The recommendation from the department of transport is that a taxi driver must meet the same standards as those of bus and lorry drivers but individual local authorities determines what the medical consists of and who can do it so please check with your local authority to make sure that any registered doctor can perform the medical and not just your GP. You may need to get your medical summary from your GP to bring to your appointment.
